Congratulations on your enrollment in the Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship program!
As you know, the scholarship may be used at accredited public or private colleges or universities in Oklahoma as well as for a limited number of programs and courses at public technology centers within the state.
Be sure you review this important information about the requirements of the OK Promise scholarship.
Don’t forget that there are two GPA requirements you must meet: a 2.50 for all courses you take AND a 2.50 in the 17 specific college prep courses required to receive the OK Promise scholarship. Check with your counselor to make sure you are on track. For more information, visit the FAQ page.
Have you moved or changed schools since you enrolled in Oklahoma’s Promise? Do you have a new phone number or email address? Email or call us at 800.858.1840 to update your contact information.
Are you a junior or senior in high school? Remember, there will be a check of the $100,000 second income limit each year you are enrolled in college or at a technology center. The second income limit will be verified through the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). For any year that the income reported on the student’s current FAFSA exceeds $100,000, the student will not be eligible to receive the OK Promise benefit. Any year that the student does not receive the award because their income exceeds the income limit will count toward the five-year period of scholarship eligibility.
